About

Expert knowledge, explained clearly

Noisy Equations Tutoring offers focused, one-to-one support in maths and physics (although group sessions are available) delivered in person from a fully-kitted clasroom in my home in Newry. Whether your child needs to rebuild confidence with the basics or is aiming for the very top grades, sessions are built around exactly where they are and where they want to be.

With a First Class Honours degree in Physics, an MSc in Cyber Security, a PhD in Applied Mathematics and many years of tutoring experience, I bring a deep understanding of these subjects, and, just as importantly, the ability to break difficult ideas into clear, manageable steps. Every concept has a story behind it, and once students see the "why", the "how" becomes far easier.

I strive to impart the passion I have for these subjects onto my students.

Support at every stage

Key Stage 3

Building strong foundations

Secure the core skills in number, algebra, geometry and statistics, which everything later depends on, and build good study habits early.

A-level

Stretch and challenge

As students gain their first experience of just how complex these subjects can be, having a personal tutor who understands the content deeply, and how to break it down, is immensely helpful.
